Who benefits

Owner gets to be hands off with laying the main foundation and addressing some concerns/problem areas (trainer does this at the facility and on field trips with the dog). Owner then learns on a weekly basis, on premises, how to maintain control, clear communication, and guidance as the dog progresses.

What does it entail

Owner drops dog off for 4 weeks (minimum), as the dog progresses owner comes in weekly to learn how to maintain the training and handling of the dog in different situations

What comes with the program:

Multiple updates throughout the week via whatsapp, free tune ups during future boarding, weekly lessons to coach the family on progress during the board and train, 1 free follow up lesson (anywhere the family decides), discounted future services, and a free groom at the time of the take home.

Discounts on future boarding and daycare services as well!

What does training look like

  • After the dog is dropped off to KDK9, trainers slowly begin making friends with the dog/dogs. Depending on the individual dog, training may start that week or the following if the dog decides to open up to the trainer.
  • Each week as the dog proves they understand what is being asked of them, some new commands/behaviors are taught, then generalized out in public as well.

What to expect

Weekly updates on dog’s progress, learning how to maintain your dog’s new training, how to fulfill your dog, recommendations for products for your dog specifically, lessons at the facility, and a lesson in public.

Is there owner training? How is that done

Owner is shown on a weekly basis as the dog progresses how to maintain control and desired obedience and behaviors throughout the dogs longevity after the program.
